Have you already decided to file for bankruptcy and need a bankruptcy certificate?

In order to file a Chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcy, you are required to complete bankruptcy counseling from an agency approved by the U.S. Department of Justice. Business and Debt Counseling is approved to provide bankruptcy counseling and the bankruptcy certificate required to file for bankruptcy. We are also approved to provide the bankruptcy education course necessary and the certificate required to discharge your debts. These bankruptcy counseling and education services are available here.

Business Debt Counseling provides an online alternative for Home Buyer Education. Business Debt Counseling utilizes the curriculum that is based on the nationally recognized eight hour NeighborWorks® America curicula-Realizing the American Dream. Many people have a difficult time getting to their local counseling office for in-person counseling, for reason such as work schedules or babysitting issues. This online version helps individuals get the education and certification that they need at their convenience. Though this online course can not replace in-person home buyer counseling and is not HUD approved, we believe that participants can gain a thorough understanding of the home buying process. Each participant in this course will be connected to a Business Debt Counseling housing counselor to ensure that participants continue to receive the one-on-one counseling they need over the phone or in-person while receiving their certification online.
